Shakin’ in New Mexico

Sometimes you just need a girls’ trip to escape the hectic-ness of life.

The Crew

My cousin, one of her best friends and myself piled into my car and trekked through the New Mexican country side. Wine tasting. Tequila sipping. Budget killing eats. Tinder stalking. Running in the rain. Historic sights. Back roads. Almost not having a hotel room. But most importantly — the unforgettable Alabama Shakes.

It was a quick, spontaneous, random, unplanned trip that turned out to be one of the best. Here’s a glimpse at some of the things we saw.

San Antonio, New Mexico

Most importantly: Alabama Shakes
IMG_1316Alas, I actually enjoyed and watched the show with my eyes and not through a screen, so not many photos or videos were taken. Sorry, not sorry.

New Mexico is more beautiful than I ever could have imagined. It’s so picturesque, it’s almost unreal. If you haven’t already, I highly suggest a road trip through the state. You won’t regret it.

Until next time,
That Guy
